Make Us One : Housley Wedding

I am super excited to blog this next wedding ---mainly because it's two people I love. You might remember Martha, my wedding model, from about a year ago...since then, she met the man of her dreams, got engaged, and now is a Mrs.

Jason is an amazing guy---who loves the Lord and music...the perfect guy for Martha!

This summer, we headed to the lovely town of Grier, South Carolina to document their day...

Without further ado....meet Jason.....

As you might remember from their e-session J & M love TOMS shoes...so they made it a fun detail of their day...

Martha's big sis & matron of honor, Miranda, was extremely pregnant, but she was absolutely amazing and quite the trooper...

Sweets for My Sweet : OJ, 7 months

Hello all-- this post's going to be a quick one...

I'm sure you all remember our niece, Olivia-- the babe who has stolen our hearts. Well the little stinker is growing up on us...she's almost 10 months old!

A couple months back (yes, wedding season has made me a terrible aunt!) I grabbed some photos for her 7th month...enjoy!

Mmmm....aahh Went the Little Green Frog : the Himstedts and the Reddings

Hello, hello! Today you get 2 for 1---a double post.

In May of 2005, I met Andrew. We both were spending our summer serving at a brand new camp as counselors. In May of 2007, we were married on the field where we had played numerous games of Multimate Frisbee, Sock War, and countless other tribal games.

Since that time-- Andrew and I have been married for over 3 years now-- and a camp that began with just a small number of campers and staff has doubled, maybe tripled in size.

Needless to say, Strong Rock Camp is a 2nd home to us. Immeasurable growth and shaping has occurred in our lives throughout our years at camp.

A couple of months back, I got to come out of camp "retirement" to be a part of the HERO program at camp. HERO is Strong Rock's version of "counselors in training". I had the awesome job of counseling the inaugural HERO II ladies for 2 wonderful weeks.

While I was there, I thought I'd make myself useful and grab some shots of a couple of Strong Rock families who are very special to Andrew and I.

Meet the Himstedt kiddos (Shannon, Amelia, Avery, & Elizabeth)--4 of the cutest, blondest, blue-eyed children you will ever meet. I've known this bunch since Amelia (the oldest was 2). Boy, time flies!

I grabbed a couple of shots of the sisters-- I love how little Elizabeth is imitating her big sis...

And now it's time for the Reddings. Daniel, affectionately know as "Bacon", is one of the directors at Strong Rock. He married his wife Kristi a few months after my 1st summer at camp. Now, they have a sweet baby boy who, at the time of our shoot, was a little over 6 months old.

I don't know if it is the camp air or what, but blue eyes come from camp babies!
